What stays on your device

Your LinkedIn credentials and session cookies live in your operating system's keychain (macOS Keychain, Windows Credential Manager, Linux libsecret) on the machine where OutLinked is installed. They are never transmitted to OutLinked servers.

What we store in the cloud

• Your account email and Cognito user identifier.
• Job-search preferences you set in the mobile or desktop UI.
• Your resume PDF and the LLM-extracted profile derived from it.
• A history of runs and which jobs were applied to.
• If you authorize email-code retrieval: OAuth refresh tokens (Google/Microsoft) or IMAP credentials, encrypted at rest in AWS Secrets Manager.

LLM service

OutLinked sends prompts to a large language model (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or Azure AI Foundry depending on configuration) to evaluate job fit and draft application answers. Prompts contain the job posting and your stated preferences. We do not send your LinkedIn cookies or password to the LLM.

Third-party terms

By using OutLinked you agree to our Terms of Service and to the terms of service of any third-party platforms OutLinked interacts with on your behalf (including LinkedIn and any applicant-tracking systems). You are solely responsible for compliance with those third-party terms.
